Second Photoshoot: Part 2



I looked through all of my images and decided on my favourite one; the image I believe would best portray the essence of my music magazine.


This is the picture I decided to manipulate, to use on my cover:


I chose this image, as her body language and facial expression works well together, giving a feeling of sensuality and high status.



I then opened the image onto Photoshop and manipulated the layers, it in order to produce a white background.




I then opened the image in an internet photo-editing website called ‘PicMonkey’ to sharpen it and add to an effect to it, which produced the image shown below.



As this caused the photo’s background colour to go from white to grey, I had to manipulate the layers once again to get it back to white.



 
After turning the background white again, I rotated the image so she was standing up straight. I decided to have the model standing straight, as I thought it looked strange having her standing at an angle. On top of this, my research didn’t support it.
This last image is the one I will use on my actual magazine cover.
